What is a colophon?
The word colophon derives from the Ancient Greek word κολοφών, meaning “finishing touch.” The term came to refer to the text found at the ends of manuscripts and books that provided information about where and when a book was produced. The colophon signalled that a work was finally complete. As your editor, I help you put the finishing touch on your writing.
